Meditation Letters for 2026

Meditation and its role for successful mastery of life.

It is generally known that regular meditation promotes health and enhances the consciousness in its ability to perceive. It is important to differentiate between object-oriented and non-object-oriented meditation, saguna and nirguna. Incorrect forms of practice can lead individuals into an illusory world and reduce the soul’s potential for relationship to the point of paralysis. A well acquired foundation of how a meditation is built up, in what time frame it happens, and how to interpret its results is an important basis for those meditating.

The meditation letters contain content in various forms for guidance and daily practice. They are mostly a page of text that discusses the object of meditation and provides some references for further founded study. For spiritual seekers these texts are of great value because they offer weekly inspiration with short exercises.

To date, 330 meditation letters have been sent out, some with somewhat more challenging and others with less intensive content.

Embarking on the process of this meditation is highly worthwhile, although for those who are totally new to it, a period of familiarisation to find their way into the reading is necessary.

The book ‘Exercises for the Soul’ has proven useful in this regard, as it precisely describes the building up of concentration and generally outlines the practice with the various necessary experiential steps1)N.B. an English translation of this book will be available next year..

For those who speak German, if you do not already own the book ‘Exercises for the Soul’, please order it with a clear conscience. Without wanting to be overly promotional, I would like to recommend it. All those who start with these exercises, make remarkable progress.

Meditation requires alertness and a concrete connection to spiritual content. The result of a methodically built-up object-oriented meditation leads to structured and formed expressions.

Meditating on the infinite or other very unconcrete ideas often leads to turning back into subjectivity with feelings that become alien to life.
