Black Magic – and the way it works in human interaction

In this article, black magic does not primarily refer to an occult ritual but rather a destructive and effective force that comes from human beings. It arises when perception of others is withdrawn, their dignity disregarded and religious or moral content is used for personal gain through lies, suggestion and inversion of concepts. White magic, on the other hand, becomes apparent in sincerity, conscious attentiveness and relationships that strengthen other people.¹⁾Both the introductory summary and the questions and answers at the end of the article were added for the online edition. Magic as a force at work in humans

The very general term magic can be used to define a force at work with a mysterious character that always emanates from human beings and not from plants, animals or even machines. In human interaction, higher and lower planes of people’s characters meet, with both their empathetic, constructive parts and also their consuming and using impulses, and these usually become entangled in an untransparent energetic play. Magic is always found in the most diverse planes of the energetic processes of human existence. In this regard, the physicist Heisenberg’s initial perception, in contrast to Einstein, was that a scientific hypothesis can only be verified following human observation. Did Heisenberg not already have the perception that there are influences that cannot be determined only based on matter?²⁾ Albert Einstein assumed that reality must be unequivocally determined independently of observation, while Werner Heisenberg, together with Niels Bohr, supported the theory that at the level of quantum physics, reality can only be determined following observation. Before that it is only in the realm of possibilities and probabilities. This so-called uncertainty principle has largely prevailed to this day. It describes, however, a fundamental phenomenon of quantum physics and not the influence of human beings on nature. This article takes this a step further and primarily refers to the physically unmeasurable effect that originates from human beings through their thinking, feeling and will. Human beings have an effect on other human beings from both their conscious and unconscious parts, however, not only on others, but also on the various processes, experiments and events of existence. However much it may bring spells to mind, magic is an unavoidable phenomenon of humanity.

Black magic is not confined to occult rituals

When people hear the term ‘black magic’ they usually think of certain religious cult-movements or groups that stand apart from the official religions, that worship evil in the sense of Satanic Cults, holding so-called ‘black masses’, cursing others with prayer or generally wanting to cause harm. These groups, although not very widespread, exist in a wide variety of nations. However, they are of little, in fact, absolutely no significance whatsoever when it comes to the effective emanation of black magic. The movements are rather primitive, with no good intelligence base, and can never intentionally bring about a catastrophe. They lack the right tools with which they could direct astral power plays, i.e. so-called unredeemed beings, in a certain direction.

What forces are set free from rituals and cults?

With usual scientific methods, the effects of magic rituals (the Eucharistic is also included in this), mantra initiations, cult acts with fire, even the effects that are set free from prayer circles, cannot be explained. What etheric forces can be brought into development through ritualistic ceremonies or prayers? Or the attention can be steered in a different direction: What astral, unheeded so-called ‘beings’, forces in a reality that cannot be seen but perhaps sensed, can be developed so that a certain magical play of energies occurs? While the output of a motor, that is rationally constructed can be very easily measured, in contrast, the kind of energy, or the kind of magic, black or white, that human beings set free through their actions and certain moral doings cannot be immediately rationally comprehended.

Spiritual research and the play of forces in the astral body

A study of the various planes, both those that are governed by rational reason and science and those that corresponds to spiritual research, which means the reality of the soul and even the reality after death, can provide very exact information about how a play of forces in the astral body, in the body that corresponds to the conscious and the unconscious, takes place and has various kinds of effects. Therefore, the effects of magic can be deciphered through a trained consciousness and the consequences can be explained very precisely.

White as opposed to black magic.

The so-called white magic that according to all appearances is the pure work of a morally high and responsible human being, leading to luminous expansion, constructive enrichment and a health-giving contribution within humanity.

It is not an object that has a magic effect, to once again make a clear distinction, like, for example, a machine but it is human beings, who can essentially set free a certain kind of magic, light or black, through the connection of their souls with certain astral influences.

The human soul and the influence of the ancestors

In the inner world of humanity many parts can be found of the subliminal and deep layers of the human character. The individual human soul is always in connection with its ancestors and it cannot develop its feeling life in complete freedom from its forebears. In order to explain magic and how it can have a positive or negative effect with its energies, human beings must not be evaluated solely according to those criteria that constitute their purely outer visible nature. The human soul contains the most varying feelings from the realm of the afterlife. Although friends, fathers and grandfathers have died and given their bodies to the earth, their feelings and wishes continue to have an effect in the souls of those left behind.³⁾In the sense meant here, what is generally called a ‘hunch’ could also be added to the feelings that are reflected from the ancestors into the consciousness of the descendants. Depending on the morally attuned relationships individuals developed during their existence, they either effect their surroundings with mainly white magic and light consciousness or, if they have become deeply entangled into a web of fate of a lower kind, through lies and all manner of harms inflicted on others, they can increasingly affect others with dark forces and black magic.

How black magic comes about

The way black magic functions can be precisely described, because it is not only founded on the influence of evil forces, but it shows itself in very specific and precisely chosen ways of behaving that individuals learn and then exploit with an energetic effect on those around them. Black magic is therefore not a product of chance and it does not need to be part of a night time ritual.

This description may therefore subsequently come across as a guide to black magic. However, if someone studies this article, they will gain awareness of themselves, and therefore, by consciously learning about black magic will ‘dispel’ their potential for black magic and soon become incapable of harming other people.
