Failure is a certainty

A consideration of the coming time will produce the feeling that those who seek spirituality or strive for noble virtues will, with all their efforts, eventually end up in a kind of shortness of soul and spiritual breath. After completing an activity they cannot feel joy because, expressed figuratively, they feel that their inhalation is insufficient. They want to bring an active contribution into their field of relationship and after a few moments they notice how their idea is extinguished due to the action of other forces, distractions or lack of interest. Their feeling life repeatedly suffers a kind of death from suffocation. Anyone who makes efforts towards a high level of morality or beautiful, meaningful topics could literally despair, as the initial resonance very quickly encounters a lack of perseverance in the other person and a failure to meet any potential aims. People only concentrate for a short moment but very quickly collapse in despondency or fear. Those who teach, inspire or create ideas experience how their spiritual activities are stifled by a lack of uprightness in other people and so they quickly feel as if they are breathless. This phenomenon will develop extremely rapidly in the future.

People often speak of paradigm shifts and very positive phases of change. The longing for a new social order has meanwhile become very great, but the year 2021 will be marked more by pralaya, by dissolution, and not yet by prabhava, by strengthening and manifestation. Dissolution processes and attempts to establish something new will wrestle with each other and the time has not yet come in which projects can manifest very well.

Why can no lasting, spiritual, and morally well thought out projects persist in society? In order to answer this question, the so-called astral body has to be carefully considered in its individual, collective and cosmological relationships. A purely psychological interpretation of the circumstances would not be sufficient to clarify this comprehensive question, but a good knowledge of the human psyche can reveal very good information about what is happening internally. The astral body is a concept which, however, extends beyond the analysable psyche; it is that body that is composed of so-called real substantialities, or the forces of beings, that result from the various constitutions of consciousness of both present and past human existence. Not only what the person thinks at any one moment creates a reality, but also the effects of forces radiating into this world from the world beyond, from the deceased forms of existence, configure the astral sphere of the individual and extensively dominate the collective human existence. For this reason, the term astral body is the ideal term for all those fine effects of forces that the consciousness produces individually and collectively and which the consciousness of ancestors or grandfathers and fathers has generated previously. Human beings are in connection with themselves, with their fellow human beings, with society as a whole, with time-related phenomena and with their ancestors. This entire happening lives and is reflected intrinsically in their astral body.

A look at the present time shows that the naturally flowing, uncomplicated effect of sunlight actually appears to be darkened. The already mentioned dark being lives as a form in the sphere. However, it will be described in more detail in the course of the following articles. Today people cannot move as freely as lizards in the warm rays of the sun, they stiffen, atrophy and their relationships to one another are severely impaired. This disturbance can be traced back to the astral body in the sense of a collective whole. Outwardly one can certainly cite the corona regulations and the many lockdowns that have brought considerable constraints onto humanity. But when the eyes look behind the external conditions, there is an extreme darkening with actual effects that unconsciously radiate onto people’s minds. This unseen, cosmic influence automatically creates a tendency towards isolation and those who especially want to develop quickly and spiritually feel symptoms of a kind of suffocation. The fact that, for example, corona infection ends in asphyxiation from interstitial pneumonia¹⁾Interstitial pneumonia is a lung inflammation in which the connective tissue in the lungs (interstitum) is particularly affected and is accompanied by shortness of breath. probably finds expression in the microcosm, i.e. in the human realm, because the macrocosm is metaphysically so dark that the healthy forces there feel as if they are suffocating. Certainly these are figurative descriptions, but when speaking about the actions of the astral body, suitable motives must explain this metaphysical and yet real situation.

This great metaphysical darkening is a consequence of the brownish blotched spectres mentioned in last year’s forecast, which can be seen in the aura of many German citizens. The colours in these auras do not always stay the same, they change and with this they finally become dark, determine the overall astral sphere and create an actual shield in the natural flow of movements and relationships. Last but not least, they generate a paralysis of the breath in the lungs through proliferation of the fibroblasts²⁾Fibroblast proliferation refers to the rapid increase of connective tissue cells in the lungs. and a thickening of the alveoli³⁾Alveoli are the air sacs in the lungs.. Individuals depart because they can no longer participate in the circulation of the air.

The feeling individuals have that, with good effort, they are entering into dialogue and then experience themselves as if in a gradual process of exhaustion and suffocation can be traced back to the fact that in the past there have been many cases of lies. But not only have there been lies, but also well-known scientists, for example, are being excluded from public dialogue, they are being labelled as conspiracy theorists and defamed. The being of insult and defamation, which is already evident in the fact that people counter arguments with non-arguments and deny others their healthy ability to perceive, excluding them from society, initially leads to a complete imbalance in the way public opinion is formed. However, the effects that actually arise from defamation and exclusion are, from a spiritual perspective – and this must really be emphasised, from an actual spiritual perspective – like  processes of annihilating substantiality. They are comparable not only to misappropriating valuable materials, but even burning and destroying them. The present time has brought an increasing degree of persecution and defamation against precisely those who have endeavoured towards objective clarification and truthful assertions. In the spiritual world, therefore, a great shadow being, which works back on humanity, has been constructed.

The total sum of these effects, both spiritual and also earthly, has a seemingly inescapable strength and thus it can immediately dissolve and destroy the rising impulses and forces of those making efforts. Added to this is the development of the entire materialism of the time, which has promoted an exponentially growing imbalance between rich population zones and poorer ones, and this to a particular extent in the last year. This dire disproportionality can be seen, for example, from the fact that global hunger relief programmes are reporting far more starving people in the world.

This observation, which describes the being in the cosmos as a dark figure, could lead the endeavouring individual to despair. However, the efforts for morality, spirituality and truth do not remain meaningless from the spiritual point of view. For example, they bring an inner uprightness to the human being, at least temporarily. From a spiritual point of view, all efforts are already creating future building blocks for a freer and more socially respectful culture that will no longer exploit the Third World, but instead wants to integrate it into the heart. This dimension waits and shows itself in spiritual fragments. It appears as if in outline behind the horizon. Failure, however, for today and for this year is certain, because the impulses and forces that the individual brings up will be suffocated by the desiring and darkening forces. The teachers or doctors making endeavours today or those struggling for justice, truth and brotherhood have to factor failure into their active efforts. For the year 2021 they actually have to let go of any faith in the durability of their endeavours, in any good or lasting resonance and even in a better world order in the future. They need spiritual faith in their actions and, to put it crudely, they have to have this faith in truth even facing the gallows.⁴⁾A very good legal scholar once said that despite all the hindrances in the legal system, he has to believe in the validity of the law. The law has to be of value for him, while the legal system is not credible for him. This same statement could apply to doctors: as a doctor one must be able to believe in the possibility of a person’s recovery and in their strength. Human beings must have within themselves that recourse which enables them to rise above illness and they must be able to cultivate a greater degree of health through their own efforts. If this belief were absent, then one could not be a doctor with a clear conscience. It is similar with the concept of truth. Only the fact that there must be truth on a greater, comprehensive scale, which is objective and real, gives human beings the possibility of freedom. The darkness will suffocate their surroundings and they will have to repeatedly fight these forces of darkness with new engagement. The fire that they kindle remains a match flame, haunted by limitation.
